<The Awakening of Adam> - 2026
Description:
Inspired by Michelangelo's fresco, "The Creation of Adam," from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. This work reflects on modern humanity's origins and raises a question: Do we still look back at God's original wishes for humanity, and are our current actions in conflict with that initial intent?
My current marble sculptures are all small pieces, not too heavy, and can be moved by one or two person. This is the size I currently have control over. My marble is basically white with no pattern, just a very light vein that is almost invisible. I don't want the texture to break up the form. My works are mainly portraits, which is what I care about most recently. I am rapidly improving my stone carving expressive abilities.

<Madonna and Child>
Concept:
This work is a celebration of the greatness of maternal love. I firmly believe that no other cultural expression has praised the theme of maternal love with the depth and breadth found in Christianity. Through the timeless image of the Madonna and Child, this piece aims to explore the sublime nature of a mother's love, transcending the secular, and the beauty of sacrifice, devotion, and holiness it embodies.
<Mary>
Inspiration:
This work is inspired by Michelangelo's sketches of Mary. I sought to portray a mother with a powerful spirit of devotion, who, while confronting her son's suffering, gazes toward God. Her eyes intertwine with two intense emotions: the pain for her son, and the joy for God's will being fulfilled.
Many of my works are derived from religious classical themes. This is because I have a natural resonance and deep connection with these classical cultures. I love traditional stone carving techniques and strive to find my own voice within this long historical tradition.

<The Passion of Christ> - 2021
Artist's Statement:
This work captures the moment Christ is taken down from the cross. While his body appears lifeless, his head is held high, a sign of a dignity and will that transcend suffering. Through this scene, I reflect on a universal truth: in everyone's journey through life, there is an invisible figure silently enduring a suffering that was originally their own.
<The Sorrow of Creation> - 2024
Artwork Description: Genesis
Inspired by Michelangelo's Genesis, this work confronts a fundamental paradox: is the source of creation a beautiful beginning, or the starting point of troubles?
